The Town Hall
Town Hall built in a classicistic style situated in the heart of Sierpc town being the property of the Museum of the Mazovian Countryside. The Town Hall located in the city centre is the place of seasonal exhibitions promoting local culture as well as the culture of other nations.
It is a place, where the meetings for children are led. They can take part in demonstrations concerning the creation of palm trees, Easter eggs and Christmas tree decorations. St. Andrews’s evenings are organised in November.
The Library of the Museum of the Mazovian Countryside in Sierpc is located in the Town Hall. What’s mor, author’s meetings, lectures and talks are also taking place here. The Museum Library has around 2000 books in its collection. First and foremost these are historic and ethnographic books concerning the culture and the region’s history.
